Water Damage and Mold in Basement

Mildew Found in Basement

The water heater in the basement had been leaking for a while without anyone noticing. There was mold growing along some of the walls and underneath the carpet.

When the water heater finally broke SERVPRO of Yavapai County was called to do the mitigation. When we got there we saw the mold and let the insurance know that this wasn't a run of the mill water loss.

We couldn't save the carpet because the mold had been growing underneath. The rest of the basement was spared and the homeowners received and installed a new water heater.
