Beautiful Home Destroyed by Flood

Flood water is one of the worst types of damage that can happen to a home. Sometimes the water intrusion is very minimal and it seems pointless to do any demolition. The problem with flood water is that it has gone through the outside and ends up carrying bacteria and other contamination.

A flood cut is made twelve inches above the flood line. This home has about fourteen inches since the water was low. All of the carpet and pad were removed and disposed of but the tile is non-porous and can be cleaned and disinfected. At least the home is clean and free of bacteria. It's just also free of carpet and drywall.
