Broken Pipe Ruins Bathroom in Cottonwood, AZ

Pipe Burst Brings Down Ceiling

Drywall does not do very well when it becomes saturated with water. It loses its structural integrity and breaks easily as seen in the first picture. The pipe in the ceiling broke and ran for at least an hour before someone saw that damage and was able to turn off the water.

The damage to the bathroom was very extensive. The cabinets were too wet to save. The particle board swelled too much which meant removing it and getting the bathroom ready for new drywall and cabinets.
